After graduating with honors from Albany Law School, Sheldon clerked at the Appellate

Division, Third Department. He then served as an Assistant District Attorney in Monroe

County, where he was assigned to the Special Investigations Bureau. Now in private

practice at Brenna Boyce, he is an accomplished civil trial lawyer and a member of the

American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a life benefactor member of the National Rifle

Association, an NRA certified rifle and pistol instructor, and a member of the New York

State Rifle and Pistol Association. He has represented gun owners for more than 30

years.

Sheldon represents law abiding citizens who choose to exercise their fundamental

constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Services include assistance in obtaining New

York pistol permits, resolving issues with background checks (NICS) and representation

at permit denial and revocation hearings.
